"Great hotel! The room had a comfy bed and pillows. I loved that there was a desk and chair. The room is really dark and quiet at night. Close to the train station so easy to get to Cinque Terre. They all look recently renovated and are very clean and the beds are so comfortable! It’s also a great location and is only a 5 minute walk from La Spezia station. "A cozy and quiet suite for three nites in the heart of historic Lucca. Perfetto! Cool December nites were no match for our cozy room. The bed and bedding made for great slumber, and the hot shower was welcomed after long days of exploring and dining. A separate room for lounging over a cup of tea was welcomed too. 77 steps up to our suite were not a problem for us ( both seniors) but for anyone with mobility issues it would not be suitable. (The young host did kindly offer to carry our bags.)...

Called the local phone number and they sent a link via WhatsApp to complete check in information online. This included having to take and send photos of passports, and paying the local tax using an online platform. After doing that, we were then informed that the room was 500 metres away. When we got there, again there was no buzzer...

"It is conveniently located by cafes and a less than a 10 minute walk to the trains. The host was very helpful about tourist attractions. Tea, coffee, and croissants were in the room waiting for us. The place can be a bit difficult to find since it is on the 2nd floor of a building with apartments. We found it by seeing the small sign on the building as we walked past. "
