"While Pop's place doesn't look like much from the outside, the inside was amazing. The large kitchen was perfect for cooking, eating, and playing card/board games. The living room was large and comfy for watching movies late at night. Each bedroom was spacious and welcoming. The decor in each room was artistic - clearly the host has gone all out to make this home a "home away from home". "We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Galeton. Upon check-in, we encountered a small issue with the code, but Thanh, the host, was incredibly prompt and helpful in resolving it. The house was immaculate and well-equipped, though we did miss having a cheese grater for our pasta night (but we managed!). We originally came for astrophotography, and although we only had one night with semi-clear skies for about two hours around 3 am, it was still stunning. I can only imagine how...

"This is our 2nd stay here and it’s amazing. The owner is very responsive and accommodating, we had my brother in-law come at the last minute and there was absolutely no problems with an extra person staying. Plenty of room for all. We ride motorcycles and it’s very close to the BDR. Cannot wait to go back"

"This house was such a treat for our large family of 7. There were plenty of beds and space so we never felt cramped. The pool was an added bonus for the kids as they were in there most of the day. "Had a great time with our stay. We used it as a staging area for seeing the LLWS Games in Williamsport and to use the space around the cabin itself to just enjoy the outdoors and relax. The area is beautiful. Communication from host was great and helped with ease of mind. Twelve beds accommodated our entire party. Highly recommend."

"My guests and I found Black Bear Lodge to be very comfortable, clean, and quiet. There was an abundant supply of towels, toilet paper, and K-cup pods for the coffee machine. The gas grill on the back porch came in handy one night for dinner. During our stay, we saw a beaver, rabbits, geese and hummingbirds on the property. It is a convenient place to stay if you are planning to visit Cherry Springs State Park and Leonard Harrison State Park. My only suggestion is to supply a plastic dishpan...
