We were in town for the Green Monster 50k and the house was about a mile from the start so it was perfect! It was also close to Wellsboro, and the entire area was gorgeous! Thank you for hosting us! Next time we'll have to stay an extra day so we can spend more time checking out the property!

Was a great place to stay. It would have been nice if the outdoor light would have stayed on.

This was the second time staying here. The location is perfect, right next to Rails to Trails and Wellsboro. The weather didn’t cooperate so we spent time relaxing.

This is a convenient place to stay for the Grand Canyon. We just stayed one night as we were passing through for the day. They have a nice path cut through the property to take a walk.

Everything was perfect! Room enough for everyone-to eat, sleep, and play. House was clean and ready for our arrival. Host was very open and communicative-even leaving a list of things to do in the area. Location was peaceful and located within easy driving distance to the state parks and Wellsboro. Kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, bathroom had enough towels, and the washer/dryer was very convenient considering it rained all weekend.
When we return to the area, I would definitely love to stay here again!

We had a great time staying at this property. I felt like the listing was a little misleading when it comes to the "privacy" of the acreage, but the area was beautiful and we didn't even know the neighbors were there until they came to help us with the grill. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would stay again.

This is our 2nd time booking at this location. We love the area and it's a great location for us being close to PA Grand Canyon, Wellsboro and New York is a very short jaunt away. We love that we can take our dog and she feels comfortable and at home here. Every stay we feel welcomed and we cannot wait to go back. Thank you again for a great weekend!!!

All was well with house! Hiking trail was flooded at one end and the other end did not look recently maintained so we did not hike it. Neighbors had some “colorful” language but kept to themselves. Nice place.

The place was clean, well maintained overall. In most corners were spiders and their webs. I think the place could have been cleaned /dusted/ vacuumed thoroughly prior to making it available. With all of that being said. We really only noticed because the rain forced us to stay inside all day Saturday, when our intentions were to hike, bike and explore.

This was a last minute reservation because of the hurricane that canceled our NC trip. Here is what we experienced. The gas range and refrigerator were rusty and need to be replaced. No ice maker and black mold in the fridge. One of the gas burners would not self ignite. The baking pan I used was covered in grease and had been put away dirty. There is no dishwasher and the owner did not recommended drinking the water which is from a well. Black mold in the shower. The bathroom /laundry room had an unpleasant order. The window AC unit grills were covered in dust. In my opinion this rental does not meet minimum expectations of renters.

It was not private at all houses all around cars racing up and down the street constantly. The smell in the house was overbearing I guess to cover all the urine stains all over the carpet. Grills out back didn't work. Had to wipe down outside table, chairs and deck. Shower curtains disgusting.Mix match garage sale decorations and linens not cozy at all. Didn't want to sit on the so called couches covered with stains and dog hair.
