"We had a lovely stay in the Villa, it was mostly as described (except I explicitly asked if there were three double beds and assured there were, there wasn’t, there are two double beds). "The house and setting are gorgeous and comfortable for a large family. The host was beyond amazing. He welcomed us with a lovely meal prepared by chef Angelo and helped us make all travel arrangements for our stay. Upon discovering we needed a baby crib, he quickly purchased and set up one. Days later when we needed medical attention for one of the other children, he promptly sent a knowledgeable driver to help us find care and continued to check in on how we were doing. "Lovely villa with own pool. Met by owners who couldn't have done more for us. Greeted with wine, bread and mozzarella. Did days out to Capri, Pompeii and palace in Caserta. Lovely to come back to villa at end of the day to relax by the pool."

"We booked this place primarily because of the private pool. It was green upon arrival and we were told it would be fixed the next day. It was not and was never even looked at the whole time we were there. We asked for money back for that and other problems there were with the property. Like a sink leaking, doors being unable to be unlocked from the bedroom which in America would be a fire hazard. For a place that sleeps 13 there were four normal chairs outside. "Three of us stayed for a week at Villa Margi. The Villa is amazing! Lots of room, comfortable, and the views are unparalleled. We made day trips to Pompei, Sorrento, Positano and Capri. It was also nice to spend a quiet day enjoying the Villa and the pool. I highly recommend a private dinner prepared by Margi and her skillful staff. Margi is a lovely person. "The villa was great especially the pool area which we all enjoyed immensely. Unfortunately the area outside the gated area is dire. Little or no local amenities and the street was dirty and most buildings were abandoned. The blurb for the property was changed recently to state that a car was needed and had i seen that I wouldn't of booked as none of our party wanted to drive. Beach was good and the staff at local Lido were great. Again villa fab but location awful. Such a shame!"

From the furniture and fittings, to the pool, to the little extras such as the welcome food and wine package and complimentary toiletries, the owners have thought about every detail and the property is stunning. "gîte situé en banlieue relativement calme ; neuf, propre et bien agencé sauf la cuisine qui pourrait être un peu mieux équipée ; néanmoins, si vous vous déplacez avec les transports en commun, la station de train proche est très peu desservie ! il vaut mieux utiliser la station san giorgio. Et si vous restez en ville un peu tard le soir, plus de train après 21h. Donc louez une voiture ou taxi à prévoir au budjet !"

"What a great property and location. The pictures of the view don’t do it justice. The ocean view is gorgeous. Location is great and close to the town of Vico. Vico has great restaurants (we went to Al Buco and Pizza a Meter) and lots of shops. We stayed here as a central location to get around to see the rest of the Amalfi Coast and it was perfect. The host Gennaro is kind, helpful, and so pleasant. So happy we stayed here. Grazie Gennaro for letting us stay in your home!"
