"This is the greatest place! We were comfortable during our stay, and the location was amazing! We spent a lot of time by the river. My husband was able to walk right out and fish off the dock a couple times a day. Hosts were amazing. We had a crazy storm one night, and they reached out to check on us in the morning. Would absolutely love to stay here again!"

"Elizabeth’s East Haddam property surpassed our expectations. The spotless apartment was “beyond our wildest dreams “ spacious, outfitted with comfortable furniture/beds/sheets/comforters, a sweet kitchen with the largest microwave we’d ever seen mounted above the stove, laundry facilities, and a large bathroom with beautiful shower. The unit sported an easy first floor entry/access, plenty of parking, and a two minute walk to Goodspeed. There were more than enough electrical outlets and a helpful railing down the couple steps to one of the bedrooms. A window air conditioner and bedroom fans kept the entire space cool while adding white noise though it was a quiet oasis the entire time we were in this lovely home. We noted the unique decorative dining area window moulding, exposed wood ceiling beams, and a sleek, inviting dark marble-topped desk in front of an amazing natural accent wall shelf in one of the bedrooms. Several light colored painted brick walls add extra charm, shiplap/bead board gives the space that iconic country feel, and white - easy to use - window blinds contributed to the uncluttered feel of the space. But, what stood out the most, was Elizabeth’s stellar communication and her warm ‘n welcoming ways. An unexpected bonus was the opportunity to meet her and her aDOGable pup upon check- in."

"Great backyard to enjoy day and night! Pleasantly surprised how well stocked the kitchen was with pots, pans, plastic storage containers, utensils, etc. Large game room was fun for all in our group! Full size washer and dryer was a bonus."

"This was an outstanding rental! The setting is fantastic and the view of the lake is superb. The house is comfortable and roomy with a huge screened in porch facing the lake. We can't say enough good things about the hosts. Their communication was top notch all the way from first contact to last, and we even had a fun social get-together near the end of our stay. They were out in front with their communications so we never felt we had to wonder if things were all set (something that can be a problem with other rentals we've done). They provide a paddle boat, canoe and kayak, all of which we enjoyed on the lake. We highly recommend this house and would eagerly stay there again."

"Just an amazing place...! This was our second visit in two months to see our son performing in Crazy For You at Goodspeed theatre. Spacious and well appointed, this space is very welcoming and perfect for stop-ins from family/friends and lots of room for the dogs to run and play. Was able to work remotely there with the speedy internet and was happily distracted by Cessna, Piper and Beechcraft takeoffs and landings out front as well as the occasional seaplane landing on the river. Grab a Kayak and visit the Bald Eagle fam just around the bend and take in the amazing views. Sunsets...!!! And the owner Ann...? Rockstar! Will help you out with whatever you need."
