If I had to say what I didn’t like it would probably be parking when underground or directly outside the hotel was at capacity, was a bit of a walk to get from their off site parking to the hotel. Also no stair access, was forced to wait 45 mins in lobby as maintenance worked to get the elevators fixed. "

"Hot breakfast varied each day and the choices were always very good. The breakfast buffet included some standard items every day, like oatmeal, bagels, muffins, etc. The buffet area was always clean and well-maintained, as was the dining area. Our stay did not include daily housekeeping, but it was always easy to get extra soap or towels from the staff if we needed anything. "

"I did not actually stay at the Courthouse Hotel, but I would still like to give them a 5-star review because of their excellent customer service. A few hours before I was scheduled to arrive, I got a call from the hotel, advising my that the A/C in my room was not working and that the problem would not be resolved before I arrived. Since the forecast called for hot and humid weather, the hotel offered me a reduced rate or the option to cancel without penalty. (They could not offer me a different room as they were fully booked that night.) After conferring with my husband, we decided to cancel our reservation. I was disappointed that we could not stay at the Courthouse Hotel, but I was very grateful that they notified us proactively, so that we could make other arrangements. After such outstanding customer service, I will certainly plan to stay at the Courthouse Hotel on my next visit to Thunder Bay!"
