"Not fit for human habitatation. Full of black mold. Some attempted to be wiped away, but thick patches in several rooms. Couldn't stay here with young children. After an hour of ringing around, no other rooms in FW, had to drive 4 hours home, arriving at 1.30am with young children. Host communication poor, sent me to wrong place, neighbours all complaining about this host when I asked directions. Not the important part, but clearly characteristic. Zero response to complaint from host. I stay...

"This was a wonderful hostel. The check-in was very quick and the staff member on the desk was so friendly and helpful. We were two older couples in a quadruple room which was very comfortable. The kitchen was very big, modern, squeaky clean and had all the equipment and utensils required/needed. There were numerous tables in the dining area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thoroughly recommend Glencoe Hostel."

"Staff were friendly but we paid a premium for this stay and we don't think it was worth almost double every other location we stayed. Things not working in the bathroom, old shower over bath combo. Breakfast was good but we found much better restaurants in the area for dinner. Think we just had higher hopes for the place based on the pictures and price."

"This place is in major need of upgrading, a complete replacement of the carpets throughout, and a good clean. There were nice sitting areas on the main floor, but the smells permeating from the shared areas of the hotel made it impossible to enjoy them. Think smells of pet urine, fuel spill, mildew, and years of grease cooking all wafting in waves. There also appears to be shanties built here and there onto the main structure storing supplies have exposed to the elements. Our bedroom looked like...

"Great clean place to stay for a night on the way to isle of skye. My only issue is the no fan. However, you can open the window with a screen but you can put the blinds down with the window open. While fans probably aren’t needed most of the time it was quite hot the day we were there."
