"This cozy home nestled high up on Arabella is a true retreat. The home itself is well appointed with comfortable seating areas and well kept bedrooms. The home decor is classic west Texas with Cowboy and Native American theming found throughout the home. The back porch is the perfect place to watch the sunset before watching the night sky come alive as part of the darkest places found in The Lower 48. The planets, and Milky Way are easily scene from this back porch. If you’re into hiking and star gazing then this the property for you!"

"The house was clean, everything we needed, cute & decorated nice, we really liked the house, the map wall was cool, the extra quilt on bed was good to have, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, the ac worked good & was quiet, good coffee makers, & we enjoyed the patio & grill, Got to see wildlife, rabbits, deer, peccary. It was quiet & really nice. We enjoyed your books & you have the house set up nice & all the info on fridge was good to have.It was good to meet Deanna, she was so nice & helpful, your muffins were so good. "This was by far one of the best equipped and well laid out rentals we have experienced. Check in was very straightforward . Communication with host was timely and thorough. There was an excellent area behind the house to set up my telescopes for astrophotography and the neighborhood was suitably dark. I felt comfortable leaving my gear set up for our entire stay. We would certainly come back to this rental again. In short we loved it. "
