"It was a well designed house. We enjoyed the balcony for star gazing, and the courtyard around the house wes lovely. The kitchen was well equipped. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular as it reflected off the walls of the upstair bedroom. My son especially enjoyed the hammock on the balcony. The shower was nice,and we had plenty of hot water for all three of us after our Big Bend adventure hike. The only hinderance we had was it took a little time to get the air conditioner on and cool the place down. We loved being near Big Bend and dining at the 12 Gage restaurant as well as strolling through the beautiful Gage Gardens. Alpine is also not far away for dinner."

"This was my second time visiting and it did not disappoint! The stone cottage is a quaint reminder of a more simple time. Plenty of things to do in the area or one can sit on the sky deck and enjoy the stars! Ingrid is so friendly and helpful! A little gem in the desert!"
