"Right in town and just far enough out of Thurso to avoid the noise. Gas station right down the road and beach the other way, good for a stay with friendly staff and quite accommodations. "

"The hotel is in a small town, with beautiful fresh air and countryside a few minutes walk away. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was included in the cost of our stay. Anything you could possibly want for breakfast was provided, from fresh fruit, yoghurt and croissants to eggs, bacon, sausage, haggis and blood pudding and others. We were very happy with our stay here."

"Splendid highland situation in a remote scenic area with good parking. Well appointed furniture and fittings and country views, although I could not see the lake from inside the hotel. Room warm on arrival but tv being upgraded so not available. Very good internet signal, Only a couple of guests as out of season so had personal service"
