"The staff were friendly and the room was clean and the bed comfortable but the decorating was clearly done by an amateur! Maybe the hotel inspector needed for the rooms at this price. We didn’t buy breakfast but were given coffee and cereal. "

"The hotel and grounds were lovely, cosy lounges, comfortable rooms, food good, staff helpful and friendly. The bathroom in our room needed some attention, the bath was blocked, water took a long time to drain away. Swimming pool was cold and needed a touch up of paint. Overall we had a lovely stay and nothing was too much problem for any staff."

"Absolutely stunning. Large newly renovated room, beautifully decorated. The owners are lovely and the staff too- entertaining listening to them sing in the kitchen at dinner time. I was made to feel very welcome and was addressed by my name which is a rare quality. Food is outstanding and there was even plenty of milk in the room which is unusual. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it here, and book again. Thank you to all involved. "
