A really nice B&B, great location, only 15 mins walk into town and the station. The room was a great size for a small double (I think thats what I booked!), very clean, local info folder. The breakfast was superb, cooked fresh by lovely staff/owner. Was an absolute pleasure and I hope I get to stay again :)

Great hospitality. A clean and pleasant place. Good breakfast. Although we arrived late at night due to airport issues, the host waited for us and welcomed us warmly. On the day we left, we had a few hours before boarding our cruise he stored our luggage and recommended places to visit.

John was so helpful and accommodating! I can see that he treats this business with a lot of care and my stay was very comfortable and refreshing. I would say overall my stay at Landguard Lodge was one of the best in my time in the UK!

Nice B&B type guest house with friendly staff. It’s an easy walk from the railway station (make sure to depart the station at the exit near platform 1–saves a lot of steps). The only possible issue is that the beds correspond to US double size, so expect some cozy nights. Nice home-cooked breakfast. Recommended!
