"Nice property in a great location BUT..The pool and immediate area were unusable. The pool was full of Stagnant green water complete with resident 'wildlife'. The villa was very cold and attempts to warm up were difficult due to poor electrics. The system continually 'tripped' if we had more than half the appliances on. We did learn to live with this by the 3rd day, but we shouldn't have to. We really should have been able to have a shower with a heater on or boil a kettle without having to turn other appliances off first.There were also problems with a 'wood pellet' fire not being properly prepared (cleaned our) prior to our stay. Again, sorted by the third day. "

The locals were kind and friendly, and we genuinely felt embraced by the community around us.This wasn’t just a vacation—it was a true Sicilian experience. From the culture and food to the peaceful setting and thoughtful hosting, every part of our trip was memorable.We are already planning to visit again! "The villa itself is compact and homely but the gardens, pool and views are paradise. There is an outside kitchen and large wood-fired bbq and several seating areas to enjoy the far reaching views. The pool was clean and there were plenty of sun loungers. The palm trees give shade when required and are so relaxing to watch waving in the breeze. The host is an absolute gem - full of advice, knowledge and generosity."
