Flushing is a lively part of the city that's incredibly walkable, has easy access to the subway, lots on delicious food options and cute stores. If you're anime/manga fan you won't be disappointed.

Many many Chinese restaurants, but traffic is pretty bad. Parking can be tricky. Subway 7 to Manhattan is long and slow but this is the starting station so should be able to get a seat.

The population of Flushing has exploded in the past ten years or so. The plus is that there is a great variety of Asian food to be had in the surrounding area. The negative is that the area has become congested and dirty.

"This was the perfect NYC hotel. My 14 year old daughter and I were only in the room to sleep and didn’t need much. The bunk beds were fun and pretty comfortable. It had everything you need for the limited time we spent in the room. It was very clean. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!!"
