"Overall okay place to stay. It's adjacent to their other property, and it looks like the one we stayed in gets the leftovers of the main one (furniture, mattresses, sheets, etc.). Somewhat clean room. Safe area and a nice staff. Expedia bookings do not get breakfast (extra $5.00, totally worth it, served at the other property across the street). Guests extremely noisy, banging doors late at night and at dawn, but it looks like that's a local problem rather than the hotel's. "

I am fluent in Portuguese, but they had staff who could speak English and Spanish as well. Dinner was very good. The flavors of food are muted compared to what we are used to, but the ingredients are 1st class. We had filet mignon with carrots and parsnips. (Advertised and manioc root. "I was really happy here. The location is great for walking to restaurants and shopping. It's near the 15th of November Plaza which is a beautiful place to sit, relax, people watch. The staff was nice and helpful. On the negative side; wi-fi was pretty bad and the television too BUT who comes to a beautiful city to sit in a hotel room."
