Great Potential, Badly Maintained

The apartment has a lot of character and feels like a historic home, but it needs serious maintenance. Cleaning is an issue — there’s dust everywhere, carpets are worn, and furniture is tired. Only one of three AC units works, the water pressure is unreliable, and there’s no hot water upstairs. Wi-Fi is weak, sockets are outdated, and the power cuts if too many appliances run at once. Some Kitchen utensils are old and rusty. Beautiful place, but poorly maintained.

No wifi no air conditioning

The location was good but the wifi was a mobile hot spot on a phone that worked in one area. AC is advertised and there was none. When I asked about it I felt dismissed. Got a response the owner wasn’t planning for it. Because it was so hot we had to sleep with open windows and we all woke with bug bites. Plugs are loose and some didn’t work. Not an overall pleasant stay there.

Not good for warm weather

When the air conditioning works, it's in the sun / laundry room (not lounge). Very difficult to cool bedrooms. We opened windows at night and all 5 if us were attacked by mosquito. The only other place with AC is on the 2nd floor library / vintage collectibles area (very dark) with only two chairs and a security sensor with camera. A little awkward and uncomfortable. Management company was responsive. Catalina was friendly and great as the greeter. She gave good advice for the surrounding area. Overall, the house is very very vintage and could use some TLC. A large amount cabinets and rooms blocked along with many personal affects left in the bathrooms and other areas. Outlets were minimal and outlet styles inconsistent. Also, no hand soap was provided for the restrooms. Additionally, no onsite rubbish containers, be prepared to discard trash around the block upon departure. Location is near train and bus stations for excursions.

Si pero no

EL apartamento es grande, decorado con gusto y bien situado. El agua apenas tiene fuerza y apenas salía agua de la ducha, no tiene aire acondicionado en las salas donde se hace vida (dormitorios, baños y salón). El que había en la terraza al lado de la cocina no funcionaba. Realmente, donde se hace vida hay un baño completo con un aseo, es decir; una sola ducha y había una segunda ducha en la planta de arriba que nunca utilizamos por no salir agua. Colchones muy antiguos.
