"We had a lovely short break in this charming cottage. The location is one of the best on the island, down a very quiet track with views out to the estuary and a short walk down to the harbour. Cottage was well equipped and has been renovated to a high spec. Steps upstairs are steep, reflecting how old the property is, so won’t suit anyone with mobility issues, but fine for us - just added to the character of the property. Would love to return!"

"Pretty cottage, in a beautiful sunny garden. We loved eating on the terrace under the wisteria. It's an old cottage with low doors, so don't forget to duck if you're tall! The stairs are very narrow, not suitable for someone with mobility issues. Only one street back from the beach and a short walk to the shops and pubs. West Mersea is very picturesque!"

"Holiday was excellent. West Mersea is beautiful. Just a little more detail to cleanliness. A bistro table at the front would be perfect so we could sit outside. Restaurants just a walk away and food excellent."
