"Lovely location and very private. The place has everything you need."

"The interior of the hotel is a little shabby here and there, wallpaper chipped in places. Breakfast was poor, not a lot of choice."

"Great stay and lovely food. "

"A pleasant spacious ground floor flat with parking right outside in a quiet location . Very comfortable lounge, lovely new walk-in shower. Kitchen a bit basic. Would have preferred a summer weight duvet instead of 13.5 tog winter one provided in height of summer! However, happy to stay there again."

"Wonderful view and delicious breakfast! Our host was warm and welcoming!"

"Stayed here the night before a cruise. The owner was very helpful before the trip to find us great places to eat and called a taxi for us. Great place to stay."

"This is an interesting old pub/hotel renovated to a high standard. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast was superb."

"Wonderful room.. No TV, which we knew, and that was a pleasure. Staff very polite and helpful. Nothing seemed too much for them. The Wi-Fi will be needed, if you want the internet, as poor reception. Excellent breakfast to top it all. Third visit, we'll be back again, maybe next year. :)"

"Wonderful experience and accommodation"

"Very convenient location for Le Shuttle and comfortable, clean accommodation."

"Great place to stay."

"Charming hotel, in a great location. Very comfortable beds. Lovely breakfast. All in all a great place for a weekend break."

"The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful"

"Quite a nice place, difficult parking"

"Great stay, clean room and helpful welcoming staff. Great location too"

"Well located but basic hotel. Some things such as pillows need a refresh."

"An excellent location - close to the White Horse historic pub and many other restaurants. Great for walking to the castle. Overall a very pleasant stay."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The staff understands hospitality and will make you feel right at home. Our room was clean and spacious as well as extremely comfortable. We will stay again if we return to Dover"
