"Very nice hotel just a 15 minute walk into Fira town. From there, it's easy to take the bus (2-3€) to Oia or down to Akrotiri or Red Beach--all worth visiting. Note that the walk to hotel is slightly up/down hill, but not bad. We stayed in the junior suite, which was spacious and had a nice balcony view. Good breakfasts with different variety of items each morning. They arranged taxi transport from the airport for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Overall this is an excellent hotel. Some might find the location lacking, as it is ten minutes walk down a hill on the opposite side of the caldera. We found this location to be ideal, however, as it was away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of restaurants overlooking the sought-after sunsets. We had the added bonus of waking to fabulous sunrises too, which we watched from our lagoon suite, with a private terrace and swim up pool; what's not to like. The location also offered a bus stop to Oia, within five minutes walk, and a twenty-five minute walk into Fira via the caldera cliff-side path. We did both. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We did not use the gym or spa, but they did look to be good clean facilities. Two negatives, but only minor: It would have been nice if the pool was slightly heated. The cooked portion of the breakfast could have been a lot better, but there were many other options which we preferred, such as extremely fresh fruit and really good Greek yoghurt."

"The rooms were gorgeous and large. The terrace with hot tub and balcony had THE best sunset views in Santorini. We loved having breakfast which was amazing and hats off to the chef!"

"Sophia Luxury Suites were amazing! The room was fantastic and the view of the Caldera just can't be beat. The staff was extremely helpful and kind all throughout our trip. I highly recommend this hotel and Santorini. It's an amazing place and staying at Sophia made it truly an experience to remember. BTW, we rented a car and that really helped to see the island. Parking can be troublesome so you have to be patient with it."

"Le site est incroyablement beau, face à la mer et au coucher de soleil qui miroite dans la mer avec une vue sur Oia et à mi chemin entre Fira et Oia. Le personnel (Maximus) est accueillant et très serviable pour les valises et les transports. Petit déjeuner à la carte servi sur chacune des terrasses privées. Chaque terrasse a un spa. Plusieurs restaurants accessibles à moins de 5 minutes de marche. Seulement 13-15 chambres. Petit resto bar. Johanne / Montréal/Septembre 2026"
