"The welcome on arrival from Niki and the team was so nice. The hotel is spotless, really nice facilities and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. It was very peaceful so helped with the aim of relaxing. Breakfast buffet was ok, but drinks at bar were great and John was really lovely. Couldnt fault the hotel staff, they were excellent to a person. Highly recommend"

"Beautiful views, but we had no privacy sitting outside as our neighbour was sitting there smoking from early morning till late at night. And there was no wall between outside space. The room was very narrow and had a particular perfume smell and was noisy at night with probably other people’s airconditioning. The breakfast was really good. Lots of stairs, hard to get to our room with suitcases and nobody offered help. The views were really great and that makes it worth staying for 1 or 2 nights."

"Overall great stay! Small issues with water not getting hot for a while and frequent power outages, though this is understandable for the island. Went to check out breakfast the one morning and had the hotel staff promptly run into the breakfast room to inform us we couldn’t be there. Cleaning staff are kind and lovely but showed up while we were trying to sleep in the morning and despite politely declining the cleaning service we were informed they needed to come in. Not the vibe for our honeymoon."

"Staff was great! Unfortunately the room wasn't as nice as we expected. We booked the Golden Echo Suite for our 25th anniversary with an indoor and outdoor hot tub but they were both pretty cold and we were only able to use them on our last day because the weather warmed up. The staff did try to make it better but apparently it's an issue there because I think they are solar powered. There was a bad odor in the room (especially the bathroom) but I think that was mostly every room there due to the cave plumbing. The room was huge and the caldera view was amazing! Location was perfect! Walkable to everything in Imerovigli and Fira. Overall, we loved our time in Santorini and commend the attentiveness of the entire staff. Special thanks to George for all of the tips, helping us with transfers, Polaris rental and for carrying our 50 lb suitcases up the several flights of stairs! We will have very fond memories of Above Blue."
