The beds are comfortable, the house is spacious. The property is secluded and peaceful, yet it is only 15 minutes up the hill from Florence. Fiesole is about 15 minutes away and not to be missed. The pool was perfect on the near-100 degree days. We hated to leave!"

"We had great expectations for our stay in Florence, and the communication with Stefania was great, the property has a lot of potential to be a great location, but is currently not as nice as explained. While the rooms are large and spacious, upon entering the space smelled like urine, we aired it out and sprayed multiple scents to assist, but it was tough. By opening the windows, it got better by the end of day 2... however that let in bugs and we got bitten up by mulitple spiders or mosquitos...

The front desk people with special mention to Lorenzo, who did an extra mile to search for me at the square amongst the crowd, just to inform me updates on the store he recommended to check regarding my inquiries on certain products whilst at the front desk. They also presented me a birthday champagne. The hotel is a vintage 17th century building which was formerly a castle built in 1450. "
