Also being nestled in the hills outside of Florence meant it was 5C cooler at the house than down in the City. The scenery was better than in the photos and the guides given to us by the host led us to some delicious meals. We spent a great deal of time sitting outside. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca.
