"The bathrooms/showers were very small, but aside from that, access was great, plenty of room for 2, with nice kitchen/amenities and ok distance from town. Probably better if you can bring a car on the island though."

"we've been coming to the vineyard for over 30 years and have rented all sorts of places. to be clear, this is not a 'luxurious, brand new, view of the ocean, close to nightlife, people watching' kind of MV rental. it is a 'have pretty much everything you need, comfortable for 2 couples or a small family, close enough (by car or bike path) to everything but far enough away to have some peace, quiet, and privacy' type of MV rental. if you want a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day, make an easy meal for your family, take in the quiet evening (or morning), or hang out and play cards around the table, then this is your spot. the positives about this place are two dedicated parking spots, use of the storage room for our bicycles (no more wet saddles!), a nice deck, two full bathrooms (one is on the main floor but both bedrooms are on the 2nd floor). the staircase to the 2nd floor is kind of narrow though, so if you have mobility issues, beware. the kitchen is small but functional. use of the tennis and pickleball courts and use of a nearby dock to kayak on sengy pond are also very nice perks. the host was very responsive to two minor issues (one of which was our fault), and about which he was very gracious. we would rent again."

"I was nervous to book an expensive house without any reviews on vrbo but it was great - hosts were responsive and the house was as advertised, plenty of room/bathrooms for 10 people. Outdoor space and pool were great and used a lot. Only issue/concern were a ton of tiny ants near the sink that were there basically all weekend."

"The host answered questions right away. The home was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch, enjoying the beautiful hydrangea bushes. The location was very convenient to many places to explore on the island. It was a great vacation for our family."

"Property was perfect for a girls’ trip with a 4 year old, a sectarian, and 2 middle-aged and active women. You save money on rentals - they have beach toys, a kayak, paddle boards, and many more helpful items. I encourage you to do a sunset picnic at Menemsha beach - they have chairs, a cooler, and towels. Bbq before you go and drink wine while the sun goes down."

"I can’t say enough about this beautiful property. pictures don’t do any justice for this piece of heaven. The flowers were everywhere , it’s so apparent that the property owners take such pride in this beautiful property. The place was spotless when we walked in the door. We met the owners on arrival , they surprised us with a beautiful ballon to celebrate my 50th birthday. My family enjoyed the pool and the fun Tiki. The outdoor fireplace was inviting after the sun went down. I was a little nervous about the owners being on the same property , but they assured us that this was our vacation and they would be available if we needed them but not visible otherwise. They stayed in a separate apartment and reminded us that it was sound proof . Our large party of 10 truly enjoyed our time here at Fresh Pond. We were a bit noisy celebrating and we never heard from anyone . We always felt like we were the only ones on the property. The pond was so tranquil and we even got to see deer and swans. The kayaks were an extra bonus for my family. We used them every day. It is so magical and you can feel the peace everywhere. The apple tree and the raspberry bushes were a bonus for my little ones. I can’t say enough about this amazing place. My first time on MV and it will be the the first of many to come. I can’t imagine staying anyone else. The owners were lovely and made my birthday feel special. Thank you! We will always be grateful for making our stay special."
