"The owners are very lovely and welcoming and explained everything about the lodge and the area around. The lodge was very nice and clean and tidy with everything you needed and a little more with the hot tub and sauna. The views were amazing and even better when relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely be back and would recommend to everyone."

"Lakeside is a gem. We had a lovely family long weekend to celebrate my birthday. The property is warm, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped with everything you need and more! Andrew was very helpful and friendly. Games room an excellent addition to Lapwing! Hot tub and views stunning. A treat to see the baby calves in the field. We wish Andrew and Kate all the success they deserve"

The surrounding area is stunning with enough to keep the kids (8 + 10) entertained for hours in the fields, in the hot tub and trampolines. 100% we will return. Thank you Stuart. "

"Our 3rd visit and definitely not our last. Perfect combination of feeling like youâ€™re in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the trees, goats and squirrels but everything you need is only a 10 minute drive away. A perfectly peaceful break. The lodge itself is absolutely stunning, grounds are perfect. Thank you Jess and Stu, we will be back!"

"Stunning lodge in the heart of Wales, the views are brilliant in a very quiet area surrounded by sheep. The lodge has all the facilities you need, very clean and modern. There are sights such as Elen Valley and small towns very close by too. Duncan and his mum were extremely welcoming and even let us in earlier and stay later. I had car trouble on the way, Duncan helped with that too. Couldn't have asked for more really, would recommend to anyone."

Excellent stay at the Metropole hotel.

"We enjoyed a lovely time at the Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service. Breakfast was also delicious and had a good selection of hot and cold food. I would definitely recommend a stay."

"The room and facilities were superb we didnt want for anything. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were fabulous and friendly and nothing was too much bother, communication was tops notch. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked perfectly, i would not change anything about this place or its staff, we will return and i cant wait thank you Parkers house for a fabulous stay *****5star*****"

"Fantastic hotel. We stayed for two nights bed and breakfast. We were attending a wedding locally. The host was fabulous. Very personable and friendly. She made us feel so welcome. Helped us with anything we needed. Even helped when we couldn’t get a taxi and drove us personally to our venue. Amazing service. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel x "
