"Convenience, cheap and cheerful! Clean and tidy, basic, lovely breakfast! One issue, ceiling lights in room and en suite were not working, advised staff but nothing done. Spent the night using just side lights and mobile ohones!!"

"The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is rather old but full of character and with a lovely decor. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the station, very convenient. One thing to be aware of is that they don't start serving breakfast until 8.30am – something to keep in mind if you're planning an early start. "

"I had a really pleasant stay. One night in The Studio. Really nice room tucked away from main hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful and clean sheets and towels!! Breakfast very good. Job done. "
