"Lakeside is a gem. We had a lovely family long weekend to celebrate my birthday. The property is warm, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped with everything you need and more! Andrew was very helpful and friendly. Games room an excellent addition to Lapwing! Hot tub and views stunning. A treat to see the baby calves in the field. We wish Andrew and Kate all the success they deserve"

The surrounding area is stunning with enough to keep the kids (8 + 10) entertained for hours in the fields, in the hot tub and trampolines. 100% we will return. Thank you Stuart. "

"The owners are very lovely and welcoming and explained everything about the lodge and the area around. The lodge was very nice and clean and tidy with everything you needed and a little more with the hot tub and sauna. The views were amazing and even better when relaxing in the hot tub. "The description of the property was very misleading the hut was very basic no electric, the toilet and sink were in another shed the kitchen was in another shed, couldn’t drink the water out of the tap, the photos of the property make it look like it’s all in the hut."
