"Everything was really great, the food and drinks were execrable t. The pool areas were clean. We stayed in the Privilege Romance room and it was great. We received a special dinner that we were able to pick our options and two complimentary 30 min massages that were wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel for couples and families."

"Loved the grounds, pretty big resort, could walk quite a bit. Loved the food, beach cleaned every day. Very friendly staff, no standing in line at restaurants. Really liked that we could snorkel at the resort. Some complain that there are rocks at the beach, but that's exactly what gave as the chance do a lot of snorkeling. Huge pools, always available lounges. Great resort."

"Let me preface by saying Linda was an amazing host. She is very communicative and a helpful resource for any questions at all. Arrived with a basket of fruit and some drinks in the fridge and a sweet welcome note to boot. The walk to the beach that has a lovely natural reef by the way to snorkel is literally about 30-40 yards to the water. There was alot of seaweed, but man do I tell you the polite staff on the beach worked from early a.m. to p.m. to get rid of it and to keep the sand as clean as they could by raking leaves and any other debris that may have fallen. The unit itself is very cozy and well equipped. We are bed snobs and the bed it what we always worry about when we travel. The bed was very comfortable and having a mini split and fan in the bedroom made for a good night's sleep. She provided all the water which was a true blessing for our water bottles. We stayed on property most of the time pool was amazing!We did venture out because we got talked into going to Akumal to snorkle with turtles and paid way to much. Either go on your own or through viator not the guy that hangs out where the restaurants are. Speaking of restaurants, next time we will stop and get food at the close by market, recommend stopping and getting on the way there. I went to a cute farmer's market on the property Saturday morning and bought tons of fruit, fresh farm eggs and baked bread which was our breakfast every day. Our other meals were mostly tacos and cerveza. Going back in April! "

"We spent a week at Villas de Mar, it was a perfect spot for us. We spent half our time enjoying the location itself and then rented a car and did a number of excursions. The kids loved the beach and spent tons of time in the pool. The grounds are very well manicured and so is the beach area . Our three children slept in the spare room but in their own beds which they appreciated The unit has lots of space.and there’s a great commercial area nearby you can access tons of meal options. The kitchen in the unit was decently stocked as well. One of the washrooms wasn’t functioning while we were there but the other two full baths worked great.thanks for opening your space up for us. We had an amazing time."

"We loved our four weeks at Laurianne and Serge’s beautiful apartment. Highlights of our visit included enjoying the spacious ocean/pool view balcony, proximity to the beach/swimming/snorkelling and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We had everything we needed. We had excellent communication with the owners and no problems with our arrival and departure. We shopped for groceries at the large Chedraui across the highway (short walk there and taxi home) and enjoyed the delicious fruits and veggies at the local market on Wed and Sat (near Pampa restaurant). Lots of great restaurants within a short walking distance. Thanks again for such a great vacation and we would love to stay again. "

"This is a beautiful location on the beach. The host - Stephen, handles the process professionally from start to finish. The inside is clean with all updates and conveniences from coffee maker to beach towels. Outside is a perfect spot to relax on the beach, chill out, swim and snorkel. The residents in the building are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay with a great host and I would highly recommend!"
