"Great stay with the family at the property, there was some confusion when checking in over the room type booked as we booked with sea view and was initially allocated Marina view which required me to present the confirmation of the booking however following this it was soon resolved. Hotel communal areas well kept and updated, room felt a little bit dated. Nice touches for the children with the Pluma gift sets which is well received. Couple of issues when collecting towels from the towel hut even after handing in 5 towel cards I was challenged on my room being for 2 however had just justify that it was 2 adults and 3 children, then given towels with no apologies. Location is perfect for marina and beach access. One thing to note would be that there is rear access to the beach area however after a certain time even with your access card it will not open and you are then required to walk right around to the marina entrance, this is not ideal when you are travelling with 3 toddlers."

"Professional friendly staff. Welcoming feel. Nice pool and everything spotlessly clean. Great location, short walk from island ferry. Beautiful well maintained grounds. Comfortable beds and pleasant room and balcony. Good wifi. Good bathroom but noisy plumbing emitates high pitched whistle. We are only travelling with carry on cabin bags and storage is limited. No bed side drawers. Wardrobe also has 3 drawers (the only drawers) and a fridge, making it a “half wardrobe” so only hanging space for tops/shirts. No hanging space for dresses and hanging rail is fixed too high unless you are tall. No USB charger points. No kettle. Charge for room safe petty. "

"Visited Four Seasons Vilamoura with my partner over the last week or so but this was actually my 10th time visiting the hotel (though my partner's first!) Four Seasons is an absolutely stunning hotel and, as the title suggests, is a true home away from home without being a cliché. The staff are all so polite and professional from check-in to check-out and everything in between and their English is impeccable. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold options, tea, coffee, juices and all the condiments you could want. The pool bar too is great for food and snacks during the day with the option to pay as you go or add it to the room tab to be paid on check-out. We didn't eat evening meals at the hotel and I haven't tended to over the years, no fault of the hotel just prefer to have a change of scenery for the evening and head to the marina which is a 20 minute stroll away or even shorter taxi ride, or even the local Old Village which has a small selection of bars and restaurants. Four Seasons is one of the safest and cleanest hotels I have stayed in, staff are always on hand and rooms are tidied/cleaned every day, there is barrier entry to the hotel requiring a fob you get on your room keys. The rooms are the biggest in any hotel I have stayed at - whether the studios or one-bed apartments (I've not stayed the 2 or 3 beds). They are well equipped with everything you could need (ran out of characters!)"
