"Staff were great. Rooms clean and well maintained. Good selection at breakfast. Limited sun loungers around roof top pool so get there early. Traffic noise at front of hotel was an issue with taxi's dropping off during the night. Maybe ask for room at rear of hotel."

"This was my 2nd stay here. A lovely place with kind, helpful and local staff. Very well looked after. I was made to feel at home, away from home. :) I like the way they upkeep the portugese algave charm throughout the premises. "We loved our room the studio suite. So clean and cute! The kitchen very nice as well as both table set up very nicely. Only drawback for me was I am a vegan and there were no milk options for coffee. Some fruit but the pastries always looked so good. Fresh rolls were vegan and good. My husband and I did have trouble walking so far 2 times a day into old town for both lunch and dinner. We are getting old and were tired from 2 months of heavy walking in Lisbon. Wish I booked a little...

"The hotel is a basic 3 star hotel conveniently situated to the town centre. The staff speak reasonable English. The room was basic but did have air con and a small fridge. There is a small swimming pool on the roof with 8 or so sun loungers. Breakfast is a bit non plus but edible. 4 stars rather than 5 as one day we had no hot water in the morning."
