"This hotel is listed as a 3* well this is the best 3* hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s worthy of a 4th or a 5th if classed as a boutique hotel which is what it felt like. I stay in lots of hotels and this is up there with one of the best I’ve stayed in. Everything you need, extremely clean and staff were lovely! "

"It isn’t a large hotel which makes it much more personable. Beautiful spacious rooms, especially the ones over looking the river with Juliet balcony, where you can watch the ducks & swans- all very idyllic. Staff are helpful & always available. Downstairs gives plenty of traditional country style pub vibes. If you are looking for an upmarket place to relax & chill out, this is the place to be. A major plus is the free on site parking. There is a 2 tier parking area next to hotel. Only issue...

"The hotel felt old in a good way, but the rooms - and especially the bathrooms - were up to date and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts in the sunny dining room and we left agreeing that the Alexander Pope was a hotel we would happily return to. It's also very convenient to central Twickenham and the 490 bus took us everywhere we needed to go."
