"A fantastic B&B in a lovely rural location but a short drive away from all amenities. On the Pennine Way and nearby Hadrian's Wall walks. Lesley and Katie are welcoming and have really considered the needs of their guests. The B&B rooms are in a building with its own lounge, which is filled with maps, information leaflets, local information and even blister kits and deep heat for those who have finished a long day's walk. Secured, free WiFi is also provided and free parking. The room we had was clean, beautifully furnished and had a great shower. There is also a shared bathroom for those with young children or if you just fancy a soak rather than a shower. This is a stay on a working farm and Lesley provides breakfast in the mornings. Eggs from their own hens and meat locally sourced is on offer as well as vegetarian choices. The area is quiet and scenic and everything you could want from a 'famous five' style stay. We would highly recommend. "

Not only was the room amazing, but the meals in the restaurant were out of this world amazing. Breakfast was superb. And if you want to live like a king, splurge on the fine dining dinner option. "I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks and off road cycle trails. Thanks Posh Huts!"
