"This was my 2nd time staying here and it was a consistent experience. the hotel itself has some wear and tear, no elevator and no carpeting in the halls or rooms so it can be a little noisy. The breakfast is just ok, the room is also just ok, there hasn’t been hand soap either time in the bathroom. Just two bottles of lotion near there sink and the shower has showed gel and lotion. So much lotion!! The hotel staff, however is amazing. The young man who checked me in both evenings, is a 5 star employee. He made me feel comfortable and he was the deciding factor for me whether I would stay there. The hotel looks and seems a little seedy and the price point is lower than I usually go as a woman traveling alone. But, he so was professional and lovely at check-in, that I felt that I would be safe there and so I stayed and returned. He was equally kind and welcoming on this past stay. The breakfast staff and the room staff were also friendly in the halls. I think the hotel is a bit worn down, 2-3 start but the warm and welcoming staff make it feel like a 4 star experience. I’ve stayed at luxury hotels where the staff wasn’t nearly as polite and warm. "

"The hotel was closed. Their computer systems were down for 4 days (at least) and every other hotel was booked."

"Most things were clean. The breakfast was good. Parking was close. Staff were friendly. Pool was clean."

"PROS: Comfortable bed, nature view (even side of hallways), reasonable hot breakfast. CONS: $8 parking per day, lights in room were mostly dim, soap amount was low at beginning of my stay, hotel itself and the room showed many signs of wear, toilet is quite low hence ultra uncomfortable."

"Love this hotel. They have remodeled it since last we stayed. Looks great. Issues. The bathroom in the lobby. Someone broke the door off the stall. Not sure how long it was like that but no one was trying to fix it. There was a stained bed sheet by laundry room in the hall. Not hotels fault but someone should have not let it sit for an entire night. Lastly, hall by rooms 130s smelt like animal urine. If guests are extended they should clean after themselves. Hotel just needs to be more observant and get the folks who want to ruin the place to clean up after themselves"

"We were in town for a hockey tournament at the Tim Hortons Ice arena which was 5 mins from the house. 9 of us stayed for the weekend the house was comfortable for all of us. No complaints. Brook was a great host, excellent communication and ready to help with anything we needed. We would stay again."
