We stayed in room 101 at the Econo Lodge April 16-19. The ice machine was not working. Staff said it had been down for a while & they didn’t know when it would be fixed. We had to get ice at the 7/11 across the street. The fan in the AC unit (which was on low) was so loud we couldn’t sleep & had to turn it off. The ceiling in the bathroom had a leak which had stained 2 large ceiling tiles & dripped onto a box of tissues. Neither the ceiling tiles nor the tissues had been replaced. On the plus side the room was clean, the bed comfortable, towels were ample & the TV worked. Our room faced the back and was quiet. Very good location with easy access to restaurants, shopping & Rochester and staff are all very pleasant & helpful. When I asked for an additional pillow the young man on overnight found me one right away.
We have stayed here before and want to continue to do so but it’s important to us that the owners accept their responsibility to repair equipment & facilities promptly.
