"We stayed at this hotel during our first visit to Marseille and had a lovely experience. The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance and easy access to public transportation. The room was clean, charming, and had a boutique-style feel, which we really enjoyed. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. Although there was no fridge in the room, they were happy to store some of our items in their fridge for us. The only small drawbacks were that they only provided a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel, and lotion was only available upon request. However, these were minor issues, and overall, we were very happy with our stay!"

"We love the Hotel Intercontinental.This was our third time staying here. Such a great location. We booked a walking tour and all we had to do was walk down from the hotel in 3 minutes to the port where all the action is. A good dining option at the bistro after traveling all day and arriving late. Breakfast was good, freshly made omlettes an option. Historic 19th Century building built as a hospital during the Napoleonic wars so the rooms are large and the public spaces rich in decor."

"Super convenient directly across Fare St Charles snd two Metro lines. Two metro stops or 20 min walk to Old Port. Lots of places to eat as well. Nice breakfast, nice rooms, luggage storage."

"excellent room and very big and up to date seperate shower and a bath tub nice breakfast but far from any dinning. need to jump on the tram for 4 or 5 stations to get to the old port or qalk for a mile. "

"L'hôtel était très bien en lui même et notre chambre sur l'arrière très calme. On s'est quand même faites manger par les moustiques dès qu'on ouvrait la porte mais ce n'est la faute de personne 🙂 La jeune fille de la réception du matin qui m'a fait mes cafés au lait était adorable et celle de l'après-midi qui m'a prêté un fer à repasser 😉était très gentille aussi "

"Very nice hotel. Modern & clean. Helpful & accommodating staff. We were a few hours early but they let us check in with no extra cost. Metro opposite & buses & trams 5 minutes walk away in La Joliette square. 15 minute walk to various tourist places & the bay. "
