"Close to amenities, walkable to most major tourist attractions and shopping. There are plenty of grocery, coffee and food options in the area. Even though it’s in the heart of downtown, it’s still quiet while in the property. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable. The AC worked wonderfully during the heat wave as well."
"I needed a place to stay unexpectedly in downtown Toronto and this is exactly what I needed, very easy to check in check out cleanliness excellent sleep"

"Great location to visit other spots around the GTA. However there’s lots to do within walking distance. Only real complaint I have is regarding the elevators. Busy weekend. "
"I love staying at The Drake! I was kindly offered to be switched to the main building upon arrival, but the older side of the hotel and the “crash pad” were both so nice! Perfect for a quick overnight in the city. I will definitely be back! "
"An unforgettable stay for my birthday! This is my first time with the Fairmont Gold, I wasn't disappointed. We had a warm welcome, a bottle of champagne delivered to the room, an impeccable service. I'll keep only good memories of this weekend "
"If you want 5-star, look elsewhere. But if a well-priced, quiet, and secure sleep is what you're after, don't hesitate. Everything was clean, shower surround seemed new, and there was a nice sized fridge. There's no decor, but that's expected in an empty college dorm. There were cameras in the hallways, and security was better than many hotels I've stayed at. Cement walls kept everything extremely quiet and peaceful. Mattresses were very firm, but not uncomfortable. The only frustration was difficulty finding the entrance. It's the same entrance as the bookstore on the corner of Lakeshore and 23rd. Knowing that in advance and that you need to use the call bell for entry would have helped. "
