"Hermosa Beach House is truly paradise. The house, pool and beach were even more stunning in person. We had a group of 26, ages 6-75 and this property was perfect. We had access to the kitchen to cook some dinners and were able to hire chefs as well. The location is great, right by markets and tasty restaurants, easily walkable. "Our overall impression was that this little boutique hotel has a lot of potential however it has not been cared for. It has a lot of maintenance issues and there were roaches on two of the rooms. The shark room sliding door wouldnt close. On our arrival we were told the hungalows were unavailable and no compensation was provided. Our group had to be inconvenienced but we had no choice but to deal with it since we were not notified prior to our arrival."

From your room, take a few steps to the pool, and then a few more to the beach, you can’t stay any closer. Just remember this isn’t a Marriott or Hilton in a major US city, it’s a boutique hotel in the middle of a jungle paradise! So set your expectations accordingly. The bartenders, restaurant staff, casino staff, bellman, etc. were very friendly and had great customer service skills. This hotel caters to families and not to a group of friends looking to enjoy a vacation. If you are not going with your family, do not stay here!"

"We had a great stay at Villa Cocosol. The house was in a great location close to Emanuel Antonio, zip lining, monkey mangroves and hiking/waterfalls. The house, grounds, pool and beach were great. There were red macaws in the trees outside the house. The caretakers were very helpful that lived on the property. They addressed any needs we had. The owner was also very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay there again!"
