"We had a room on the top floor with a balcony, it was clean and tidy and looked quite recently decorated, the bed was comfortable and a good night’s sleep was had. Breakfast had a reasonable selection and the hotel is walking distance from the train station and lots of restaurants. Nothing really to complain about overall but it is worth noting that the hotel insisted on cash payments for tourist tax and although it could have been a genuine mistake they tried to overcharge me for a drink from the bar, just something to keep in mind. The staff were not rude, but didn’t seem very happy and sometimes I felt as though I was a bit of a nuisance to them, despite it being hotel policy that you hand your key into the reception each time you go out! Overall I think I would stay here again for the location, clean room and a good nights sleep."
