"We love the hotel and location but had a terrible experience on this occasion. Our room was on the top floor next to the exhaust/extractor for the kitchen which was incredibly loud and went on to after 11pm. When we complained about the noise , the staff knew straight away without needing to visit the room what the cause of the noise was . If that is the case, I don’t think they should put customers in the room (8). We asked to cut our stay to one night and the manager helpfully agreed to...

"5th stay this year. 10/10"

"Room was tidy, staff were super helpful, and all was nice. The photos show bathtubs in the room but that is reserved for the ultra nice rooms, the premium double was like any other nice pub room. Only downside is the stairs. Very narrow, very steep and very short steps, and no elevator. For a one night stay it was perfect, but if you have a large suitcase or are disabled, I would avoid."

"Comfortable room and great breakfast."

"lovely little find. Room was lovely, beautifully decorated. Fridge and aircon which are invaluable when travelling with work. Room was a little small, the others looked larger so would book one of these next time. Only improvement would be remove the shower curtains and replace with glass, no one likes a shower curtain!!"

"Enjoyed a stay for three days. Staff very willing and helpful. Excellent food. Enjoyed the different areas especially the beer garden when it was warm. Was woken by the kitchen extract fan at 6am, which probably was due to the secondary double glazing not fitting correctly. Needs some maintenance."
