"Rooms, overall were clean. But could use a little more attention to details. Like bathroom door could have used a simple cleaner and wipe down to rid it of hand prints, etc. Trim boards around bathroom door should have gaps and nail holes caulked. Shower head needs replacing, lots of scale and rust on it. "

"I stayed 2 nights due to power outage following the blizzard of 26’. From booking to checkout the process was flawless. The manager was welcoming, courteous and efficient. Check in was about 5 minutes. My studio suite was clean, quiet, comfortable and so cozy warm. Awesome after two days of no power. I told the manager I would recommend the Holly Tree Resort to friends and relatives visiting the Cape."

"This home is absolutely perfect for large groups. An expansive setting with the most beautiful quintessential Cape backdrop of Lewis Bay. I organized a yoga retreat for 21 guests and 4 teachers. There is enough room to spread out and at the same time great spaces for gathering. The house has so much charm and is a wonderful blend of old and new- the owner has done a great job maintaining the home: comfortable mattresses, great sheets, a fully loaded kitchen. We hired a chef for several meals and she had no problem navigating the kitchen and preparing our meals. Guests enjoyed leisurely walks around the neighborhood, the close proximity to the Cape Cod Rail trail hanging out under the pergola and sunning at the beach. We brought kayaks and paddle boards- Lewis Bay is a great place for water activities- plenty of sites to see and places to explore. One of the highlights, as we practiced our yoga under the tent- which the host graciously allowed us to set up for the weekend, were the seals playing around in the ocean. We gathered by the fire pit at night and spent time on the beach just a stones throw away. The whole weekend was perfect, my guests asked if we could book another retreat for next year. Thank you Peter for your great communication, flexibility and for sharing your beautiful home. If you are a yoga or wellness teacher - book this space and hire the Sea Salt Chef for your organic farm to table meals. We are all leaving very relaxed! "

"We were SO FORTUNATE to stay at this SUPER HOME on Great Island. We attended our daughter's wedding held at the Lighthouse with family and friends, living together at the house was comfortable and so convenient. The upper level is open, sunny, fresh and spacious. We played on the Island with rented golf carts visiting nearby beaches, viewing the many Osprey nests, golfing, playing tennis and pickleball and swimming at The Docks. We LOVED catching and dining on Blue Crab caught from our dock. There was a HUGE lobster pot provided in the well equipped kitchen.The bedrooms are private, quiet and clean. The modern bathrooms provided strong water pressure and restful spa tubs...not to mention the VERY POPULAR 6 person Hot Tub... Early mornings and Late Nights it was delightful! This is a PEACEFUL, QUIET and PERFECT home for a memorable NOT TOURISTY slice of Cape Cod with all of the shopping, Ferry Harbors and quant Charm of The Cape within minutes, including the Hyannis Airport! Communication with the owner was ALWAYS easy, quick and a pleasure."
