"Good location, right by the arch and close to the central area. Large rooms but old (it’s a converted convent, so not unexpected) and ‘quaint’. Very noisy. Not only right by the restaurant, which does entertainment some night a week, but also proximity to the church with its tolls ringing every 15 mins 24/7. Plus, the gardens have a very vocal dawn chorus from 0445. Amenities in the room are limited and there was no hot water at times."

The staff is friendly and always helpful, and I want to especially thank Edgar and Jennifer for going above and beyond. The property is perfectly located in walking distance to most places of interest, and I can't recommend the hotel highly enough. "

"Had a great stay at Hotel Casa Rustica in Antigua. Quaint, simple, and exactly my vibe—comfortable and close to everything. I felt safe the entire time, which meant a lot traveling solo. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the dogs were incredibly sweet. Would definitely stay here again."

"We loved this hotel. There were a total of 6 rooms available. It was like the entire complex was our own little oasis. Breakfast was included daily during our stay and it was delicious. The rooms were not huge but the decor and architectural design was beautifully done. There were so many picturesque areas on the property and the rooftop was amazing. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The location of the hotel was right in the heart of Antigua and close to the square. We enjoyed our stay."

"Room was right off courtyard that was very loud. Rooms are sparse, but clean and comfortable. No air conditioning - did get very stuffy. We opened window, but it was on the street. Evening staff did not speak English (my problem, not theirs - but good to know). Did not try restaurant. Courtyard was nice and roof deck offered views of volcanoes. "
