Scattered along the countryroads on the "Morish Strip" one can discover several castles and towers, perfectly planned for modern explorers in need of a break. According to local legend, the shadow of a warrior can be seen along this parapet every night at dusk, awaiting the return of a lost love.

Unfortunately we did not have time to await that event. - Quite tricky to walk along that parapet, by the way.

"We totally enjoyed our stay at the property. It was clean, well maintained and well stocked. We had everything we needed for our stay. The location was very convenient, central to shops, restaurants, grocery stores and historical sites. Many walks available in the village and countryside. The people are very friendly and helpful. Easy distance to other towns and points of interest. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely property."

"Gustavo was a very kind and helpful Host. His family is lovely and we enjoyed the swimming pool. We stayed there on our way to the Sevilla airport and it was about 20 minutes from there. My biggest surprise was the neighborhood which you had to enter with a locked gate and the entire development was inside of a fence with razor wire at the top. The house itself was clean, but the beds were not that comfortable."

"El contacto con la responsable Tamara no fue atendido en ningún momento. La casa y los utensilios estaban sucios y desordenados. La lavadora y la lavavajillas no funcionaban. La grifería estaba llena de verdín. La chimenea estaba llena de ceniza y restos de legua medio quemada."

"La casa está en un estado de absoluto abandono. Estado de limpieza lamentable, si os gustan las arañas es sin duda vuestro lugar, ya que están por todas las esquinas de la casa, por las mesas y sillas del salón, en los dormitorios,...junto a ellas sus telarañas llenas de víctimas como libélulas y mosquitos. Los WC son otro de sus puntos fuertes ya que están decorados con unos chorretones negros que denotan el estado de limpieza mencionado anteriormente. Los colchones son de muelles y es un sitio...

"We enjoyed our one-week stay in this house a lot because the location and view from the house is especially beautiful. It is a great place for exploring the Sierra de Grazalema which we liked a lot. Also Ronda is quite close. You live in the midst of a very green nature with lots of flowers and a picturesque countryside. We had a problem with a defect of the shower, though, but the rest was well maintained and very clean. We recommend the house. "

"I booked 3 rooms for 1 night. Sadly one of my tour party i was taking became ill and was not able to travel on the date. Because it was apparent that this would impact on the stay at the hotel i tried for over a month before hand to speak with them, not to cancel the booking, but mearly to change the date and pay any extra. The hotel just "blanked" all my communications and failed to respond to any e mail direct or through Expedia. The end result was they were able to keep the money from yhe original booking. Bad karma, lost any future motorcycle tour bookings from me. "
