"We stayed in the Casita de madera for two months from January to March, i.e. during some of the coldest months of the year. The open fireplace contributes a lot to the cosiness factor but as a heating mechanism is not that efficient, so very glad there was also an electric radiator, which in the coldest weeks was struggling to keep us warm. There is no oven only electric hob, the light on the swimming pool needed fixing which Jose probably did when requested, also the TV was having some antena issues and the image would come and go even after Antonio tried to fix it . Unfortunately there is a really loud noise from a busy road just behind the house, that was a bit upsetting as we wanted some peace and quiet. "We expected the property to be a lot bigger and with much more light/windows as per the photo on the VRBO website. As it turned out, this was a much smaller, dark and rustic house. It is a typical old Spanish townhouse in a small village in a beautiful location. It is not a luxury place in any way. Everything is very old and dusty. "We had a wonderful stay at Casa Vista Hermosa. Our contact, Fabiola, got in touch with us the day of our arrival and had everything arranged. The property is beautiful, overlooking both the valley of the old reservoir and the mountains to the east. It's also a great jumping off point if you want to visit the 'Pueblos Blancos' or Spain's southern coast. Highly recommended."

Lovely hotel in a lovely town!
"This is a lovely hotel, and our room was beautiful. We loved Grazalema. Our only critique is that we opted to include dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately, our dinner was limited to 2 choices of entree, neither of which was appealing to us. Also, the breakfast was not as good as other places we stayed in Spain & Portugal. If I were to stay here again, I would not include the dinner. "
