"The staffs all very nice and ready to help. Rooms are big, breakfast is of high quality. We end up eating most lunch and dinner on premise, since they are high quality, inexpensive with mice view and live music. The room is quite clean, but we had a leaking pipe the third day, they switched us to a better one. "

"The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...

"This was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Giselle and the team at esquipulas took wonderful care of us. Alan and his wife (the chef), Ariel, Alan’s brother and Andre and Patricia ( another chef) provided us with a rich history of the area and delicious meals.
