"I recently stayed at the Hotel Riu Plaza España and had a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Madrid, with easy access to public transportation, shops, and major attractions like the Royal Palace and Gran Vía. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very clean in general. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the city. However, the bathroom shower could have been a bit cleaner, which was a slight downside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. A special thanks to the team at the front entrance – they were exceptionally welcoming and made a great first impression every day. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop terrace, absolutely stunning! The views over Madrid are breathtaking, especially at sunset. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy a drink and unwind. That said, the food at the rooftop bar could be improved – it didn’t quite match the quality of the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options, both hot and cold."

"The best hotel I have been in Madrid! I travelled this time with my 6 months baby. The room was amazing and spacious including a cot with beautiful children bedding. My baby slept wonderful. Thanks to all the staff and particularly to Federico for his kindness and help at all times. 100% recommended."

"I want to thank Maria at the front desk. She went above and beyond. I was not feeling well and needed medical attention and she was so helpful every step of the way. The hotel is clean and in a very convenient location for sight seeing and shopping. "

"Lovely hotel! Greeted us with a nice glass of cava (or water if you preferred). Upgraded our room due to our silver status. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Concierge service went above and beyond helping me find a local leather smith to purchase my daughter a purse. Housekeeping was great. Would definitely stay there again! "
