"We had a pleasant stay at this ibis budget hotel. Some people may be put off by the hotel's 1 star rating, however that doesn’t reflect the quality of the hotel. It’s very cosy, the rooms are modern and comfortable and if you don’t mind the shower and sink being in the same room as the bed then it is perfect hotel in a budget."

"Good location. While somewhat dated, the property was clean and well maintained. It was my birthday on checkout and the staff surprised me with a box of Swiss chocolate with a handwritten birthday message. Pretty neat - having looked at my passport they knew it because we never said a word about it. Neat!"

"The Schweizerhof is a grand old hotel with lots of elegant extra touches, like fresh fruit in the room and exceptionally attentive staff. Our room showed signs of recent renovation, with modern lights and light switches, and beautifully fresh and clean walls/furniture. The desk had outlets for four different types of plugs (UK, Europe, US, Swiss), very handy for international travelers. The only issue was that the tub drain was very slow, the only sign that this is an old hotel building. "
