"Diabolical! At the reception, out of the blue, the man decided to insult me and belittle me, in front of my partner. Both, my partner and I were shocked by this. When I complained to his wife, she was helpful and got him to apologise. The apology, in a way, made things worse, because the man kept on saying that he wasn't being racist. "Stay away from this place. They overbooked so you going to end up with no room. "

"The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. It was a pity that our hob wasn't working at the time, but the oven and grill still worked. The rooms were great for the dogs and we had easy access to the outside. It was also lovely to have the large park across the road. My only suggestion would be to improve the quality of the mattresses as this would have really made the stay top notch."

"Stayed here with 2 other friends after going to a football match at Anfield. 3 single beds in one room. It was £70 for one night - we thought it was good value. The check-in process was a pain, we actually had to check in at Beach Mount Hotel - half a mile further down the road. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy and the room was warm - very important as it was a very cold night. You could hear the traffic from outside, but that didn't bother me"
