"The Julien is simply a lovely hotel. We spent 2 days there for a wedding celebration. The hotel was also hosting another wedding and several other special events, but you never would have realized it. Outstanding hotel staff and Caroline's restaurant offers great service and food. We will stay there again when we're in the Dubuque area."

"This hotel is in a historical area, near the river, and the main transportation routes. There were areas outside and inside undergoing renovation, and the interior was wonderfully comfortable. The parking was limited to street and a city garage a couple blocks' walk, but the validation was a breeze.
