"The location is great, very secluded and private. Amazing views right out the bedroom window. Has that remote cabinet feel on the inside. It's about an hour away from Bar Harbor which was perfect for us to make a day trip down there.Also local oysters and lobster are abundant. The only thing that wasn't amazing was the shower, it was either way too hot or way too cold, should be a simple fix to switch the controls."

"The property in Surry was just perfect for our use. The property is one of 3 manufactured homes on this property. The rental was clean, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. It is located on a quiet road and very drivable to many sightseeing attractions in the immediate area, Acadia NP being one of them. The AC came in handy during our stay as the weather was warm. "This cabin is really just part of a group of cabins near Bar Harbor. The difference between this and the ones you can book on like Expedia is that this has a hot tub. It's very cozy, and the inside of the cottage is super cute. However, two things stuck out that really soured the experience for us. Firstly, we heard nothing about how we were supposed to check in leading up to our stay. We ended up just going to the office, which makes sense, but it gave us some anxiety around if we actually had...

"This was authentic Maine - lovely cabin located in the trees. It was a nice getaway from the crowds. Beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Would definitely stay there again.
