"This was authentic Maine - lovely cabin located in the trees. It was a nice getaway from the crowds. Beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks to Chad for the smooth check-in/out and for providing such a unique spot to stay near Acadia and Bar Harbor."

"This was a very nice place to stay. Quiet and comfortable. Our communication with the host was excellent. The WiFi wasn’t great. Our connection would be dropped frequently, which was annoying when we tried to use the smart TV and our devices."

"This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."

"Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again!"

"Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors).
