"This was not a 5 star hotel, but also didn’t claim to be. This was one of the least expensive options of the very overpriced options available in Bangor / Brewer. I read some very bad reviews about this place and some good ones- we were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was spotless and spacious. #128 on the end of the second floor. It was quiet although next to the road and the stairs. Free self parking. Free continental breakfast (coffee, tea, fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereal and granola bars)...

"Amanda was excellent host and was very responsive to questions. Home was clean, cozy and comfortable for our family of 4 and dog. We enjoyed the proximity to the tidal falls which offered dark skies to observe the meteor showers and aurora borealis. Easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor (approx 45 mins)."
