"Nice"

"The staff was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again"

"Loved this little place! Beautiful property and view. The breakfast wasn’t anything special and continental style. With a restaurant on site it would have been nice to have a hot breakfast that was cooked. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We asked for tea at night and the attendant brought us a tray with a tea pot, honey, cups with saucers…very thoughtful touch and appreciated. It is an older building, but still comfortable. Our room had a fireplace and towel warmer. I would...

"It was a great location close enough to Acadia. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. My only complaint was the shower curtain. It was too short and too close. It kept sticking to us anytime we showered. Those curved curtain rods and longer shower curtains so water doesnt get on the floor would have been much better."

"Our stay was great! The Inn is located just ~10 minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor, very convenient to restaurants and shops. The staff was great - especially Paul, Pauline and Roz. They made delicious breakfast every morning, and were quick to refill the coffee urn. The King room was roomy and the bed very comfortable. There are some signs of wear throughout the Inn - perhaps a fresh coat of paint would freshen it up a bit. There is ample parking behind the Inn. Would definitely return for...

"The staff was great"

"We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...

"It was so lovely to have breakfast at The Ovens. Also, having it available for dinner was huge since we came at the end of the season. We will be back!"

"The grounds are spectacular! Treat yourself to a waterfront view...you will never want to leave your room!"

"Super cute hotel and most importantly clean and comfortable! Breakfast was great and staff was friendly and helpful! loved our stay!"

"This is the biggest rip off. For what I paid for one night here I could have stayed in a Hilton with actual soap, shampoo, conditioner, real coffee with an actual cup, a hot breakfast buffet, and a comfortable bed and linens that are actually soft, and a luggage rack to place my suitcase on. Yes, the view is beautiful, but it’s Coastal Maine, there are plenty of places with beautiful views. The good-beautiful view, hot water, there is a hot tub (that smells) and an outdoor sauna The bad- no one...
